Project Lead the Way is an educational pathway and gateway in applied computer science, engineering, and biomedical science that will provide hands-on learning opportunities for our St. Gabriel Parish Students. Beginning with our K4 students all the way through middle school, our students will receive real-world, applied learning experiences that empower them to gain the skills they need to thrive in their chosen high schools, colleges, careers and beyond. Project Lead the Way is a research supported learning approach that will empower our students to discover and explore interests, imagine and design solutions to real-world challenges, and become independent, confident problem solvers. Project Lead the Way is a transformative learning experience that will integrate and complement our STREAM program.
Research demonstrates that Project Lead the Way students outperform their peers in school, are better prepared for post-secondry studies, and are more likely to consider careers as scientists, technology experts, engineers, mathematicians, healthcare providers, and researchers compared to their non-Project Lead the Way peers.
